Philosophy 101

I am not a “school” spirit type of person but given the incident at my school, I say it because I want to express my defiance in being victimized and my steadfast belief that life is good. Situations like these are the exceptions which cannot govern our everyday life and behavior. The best we can do to cope is to engage in the things we love and are passionate about: the creative, the productive, our nourishing relations with others. As I mourn with my fellow students and faculty, I am surprised and touched by the outpouring of support from all around the country. Thank you.
